The Bordoloni Central College (BCC) is a rural based higher educational institution which is located nearest at the Bordoloni Chariali under Dhemaji District of Assam. The BCC was established in 1997 with a view to impart higher education to the poor and needy students of the socio- economically disadvantageous families of Bordoloni Mouza. It is worth mentioning that the College, since its inception, has been able to fill-up scarce of teaching and learning of higher education in the greater Bordoloni area. Of late, the College has been nurturing value based qualitative higher education along with extra co-curricular activities and also provides charitable community services to the locality for social development. Thus, BCC have been upcoming as a community centre with excellent education and also becoming as a centre of culture. The College has a specific vision to impart best quality education and also has a mission to continuing its social responsibilities with outmost co-operation with the locality towards all the socio-economic aspects.
The college campus is well linked by No.15 National Highways and railways which provide a good communication and transportation opportunity for the students to come from different places of the state.
The Bordoloni Central College is a co-educational (boys & girls) institution having Arts faculty with Major Courses in 13(Thirteen) subjects and 15(fifteen) core subjects in Arts stream. The College is affiliated to the Dibrugarh University. The College has obtained Government Concurrence for both Degree and HS level. The H.S. Courses are running under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and the College has proposed to be introduced the Science Stream in Higher Secondary level from this academic session. The college is not lagging behind in co-curricular activities and efforts are being made to develop games and sports too. At the same time, the college also emphasizes more on the needs to develop value and spiritualism among the students with a view to mould responsible individuals and good citizens.
Since the inception, the College has been able to achieving a glory full academic results and it is on the rise year by year. The pass percentage is also satisfactory, which is above 90%. Similarly, the College has been attaining good academic results in the BA final semester examinations. The Pass percentage is also above 90%, which is glorious for this locality. We have faith on public and anxious to serve for the best.
